MINIHELICONIAS: These are the smaller of the varieties of the Heliconias, including the Heliconia Psittacorum, Jamaican Dwarf, and Heliconia Angusta. For commercial purposes the Yellow ginger is included in these family due to its overall size even though it is not even a heliconia. They weight around 100 grams and their inflorescence is approximately 20 cm high. The stem with flower can reach a meter high.
